What Is Portfolio?

The Schola Portfolio is a powerful feature that compiles a full year’s worth of student photos, school activities, and learning moments into a single downloadable PDF.

Instead of parents downloading images one-by-one—which consumes large storage space—Schola automatically converts all selected images into a well-organized, beautifully designed PDF portfolio.

This makes it easier for:

  • Teachers to share a student’s yearly journey

  • Parents to keep meaningful memories without heavy storage burden

  • Centres to present a polished record of growth, achievements, and activities

Customize Your Portfolio Cover

Before generating the portfolio, you can personalize the appearance:

  • Upload or select your cover design

  • Choose Logo Header Color

  • Choose Student Info Header Color

This helps you match your centre’s theme or branding.

Select Your Session Year

Choose the academic session year you want to include.

  • The system will auto-collect all images from Day 1 of the selected session up to today.

  • For best results, we recommend generating the portfolio on the last day of your school year, so the PDF includes all activities.

Storage Requirement & Limits

Each generated portfolio will take up storage space from your Schola account.

  • If your portfolio exceeds 50GB, the system will stop the action automatically.

  • Ensure you have sufficient Schola storage before generating.

How to Free Up Space

If needed, you can:

  • Delete old images/videos

  • Top up your storage to unlock more space

Select Student & Class

You can generate the portfolio for:

  • A specific student

  • Their assigned class

You may also choose to:

  • Show or hide class name on the portfolio

Include Exam Results & Certificates

If your Schola package includes these modules:

  • Exam results

  • Certificates

They will automatically appear in the portfolio. You can choose to show or hide them before finalizing the file.

Final Output

Once generated, the portfolio will be produced as one PDF file containing:

  • Custom cover

  • Student details

  • Full-year photos and activities

  • Optional exam results

  • Optional certificates

  • Optional class info

This PDF can be downloaded and shared easily by parents—without heavy device storage usage.
